Endorsements Continue Boosting Mark MacLean Campaign, NEFBA Onboard

Jacksonville, Fla – The Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) officially endorsed Republican Mark MacLean for State Representative to replace termed-out District 12 Rep. Lake Ray.

NEFBA99“With Northeast Florida facing a large turnover in the legislature this year, it is critical that we have a strong and united group of legislators heading to Tallahassee,” said Chet Skinner, 2016 president of NEFBA and president of Skinner Bros. Realty. “We believe the candidates we endorse will support the continued economic growth and success of the region.”

MacLean received NEFBA’s endorsement because of his support and understanding of the importance of the construction industry to the economic growth of Northeast Florida. NEFBA has a 72-year legacy of advocating for issues that affect the building and construction industry in Northeast Florida.

This endorsement immediately follows an endorsement by the Real Property, Probate, & Trust Law-PAC, adding to MacLean’s rapidly growing support base. MacLean believes economic growth and job creation are of utmost importance for the future of Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.

MacLean says this endorsement has special meaning. “It is a unique honor to receive the backing and advocacy of NEFBA, because of what it says about the priorities of our campaign,” said MacLean. “Fighting for fiscally conservative policies that are central to promoting a business-friendly environment through reduced regulation, and keeping taxes low, is what our campaign is all about.”

MacLean joins incumbent Republicans endorsed by NEFBA including Senators Aaron Bean, Travis Hudson, Rob Bradley, and House Members Jay Fant, Travis Cummings and Paul Renner.

Founded in 1944, the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA) is a professional trade organization comprised of local builders and associated businesses involved in the building industry that promotes, educates, involves, and serves today’s building industry professionals and the community. With more than 1,000 members, NEFBA is the largest local builders association in Florida and serves the construction industry in Duval and surrounding counties.

GOP Frontrunner Mark MacLean Outpaces Competition

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Southside Attorney and State Representative candidate Mark MacLean (Rep.) has completed an exceptionally strong fundraising month according to last week’s campaign finance records released from the Florida Division of Elections.Vote Mark Maclean

Out pacing all competition with over $15,000 raised from over 50 contributors in February, matched with $15,000 invested from Mark MacLean’s personal finances in his January campaign startup, the organization entered March with $34,385, equating to more campaign capital posted in 2016 fundraising than any of the competition’s 5 other candidates.

“I am thankful for those who share our commitment to strong conservative values, and a fiscally conservative pro-jobs Florida. Our campaign will work tirelessly to earn the vote of every district 12 elector in Jacksonville’s Southside and Arlington neighborhoods” said Mark MacLean, who has never run for office before.

Pro-business Republican Mark MaClean attributed much of his inertia to a campaign theme that’s resonating throughout a regional footprint in Florida’s First Coast, which is represented by a legislative delegation comprised of two state senators and six representatives including the District 12 Rep. Lake Ray, who is now term limited.

Dubbed “Leading from the Ground Up” the overall theme means empowering local decision makers, reducing unnecessary regulations, un-harnessing small business owners to create jobs, giving parents and teachers options to choose curricula without imposed federal standards, and loyalty to hardworking taxpayers. Inspiring the Duval delegation to unite in strength under these ideals is also part of Mark MacLean’s positive plan to reposition Northeast Florida’s leadership with new energy and statewide economic influence.

The small business owner’s next fundraiser will accommodate RSVP’s from the business community, where pro-job conservatives have been invited to meet the Jacksonville native who is poised to win the Republican Primary scheduled August 30, 2016.
